ZOFRI LOGISTICS CENTER

ZOFRI Logistics Center (CLZ) is the most modern and advanced stock storage and management center in northern Chile, north-west Argentina, southern Peru, and Bolivia. The services are provided to the customers operating under the duty free zone regime and who want to outsource these tasks, from merchandise arrival in the Port of Iquique to dispatch to final destination, anywhere in the world.

The Logistics Center is comprised of different facilities and buildings, for different kinds of storage possibilities, oriented to offer all kinds of solutions to meet our customers’ needs.

We have warehouse rack storage, warehouse storage without racks, outdoors storage, paved and on dirt ground.
State-of-the-art technology for storage, infrastructure and equipment with 16,000 m2 storage in warehouses and 65,000 m2 outdoors.

Picking is the selection, extraction and preparation process of goods requested by the customer. The goods are located in different locations in the warehouse and withdrawal is carried out with a document submitted by the warehouse administration system, which keeps on-line control and record of all movements in real time.

This unit manages all steps previous to the reception operation at the Primary Zone (Port or Airport) and load delivery, such as document management for Duty Free Zone entry and dispatch and transportation to the Logistics Center, as well as the coordination related to Health Service, Livestock Service, Customs Agents, and Customs National Agency.

It includes the management of all steps in a logistics chain:

Customs proceedings for Duty Free Zone arrival and delivery.
Arrival and delivery of goods from and to Iquique Port and Airport.
Freight to Logistics Center.
Preparation of delivery documentation and product dispatch coordination to final destination.
Logistics chain full follow-up.
