ZOFRI INC. is convinced that its being is due to the sustainable development of the Regions of Tarapacá and Arica-Parinacota. This is the foundation of its unavoidable commitment and permanent effort to become, above all, a company that is socially accountable.

The Duty Free Zone of Iquique was created 34 years ago to boost the development of the Region of Tarapaca –and currently the Region of Arica-Parinacota as well- which has been possible thanks to the hard work of its staff, the trust and entrepreneurship of its users, and a favorable environment beneficial to the evolution of this duty free zone.

As a company we understand that it is indispensable in order to create economic value, thus achieving a sustainable development. That is the foundation of our conviction, that we can only fulfill our task as a development tool of the region under an ethical leadership and accountability towards our surroundings, community, and welfare of our staff, without neglecting our good service to our customers, who with their continuous entrepreneurship have allowed the duty free zone to become the success that it is today.

The development of this Sustainability Report, for the second year in a row, fills us with pride since it allows us to progress in our commitment to inform all stakeholders on the performance and, specially, the economic, social, and environmental impact of our Company and realize, once again, the relevance of ZOFRI S.A. for the communities of both Regions, among which 15% of the Company's income is distributed annually. ZOFRI S.A. is continuously supporting said communities being our main concern the development of people, who seek an improvement of their quality of life, and their future perspectives in the Region.

This new Sustainability Report, besides reporting the actions and initiatives taken by ZOFRI S.A. within this scope, and acknowledging our limitations and need to keep improving, is a statement of our real commitment with the development of the communities in which we are inserted and allows us to establish a direct and effective communication with all parties involved that contributes to improve our performance and challenges for the future.
